How We Work

KAYWEB attributes our success to our work methodology. The 7 STEPS TO WEB SUCCESS – authored by KAYWEB Managing Director Haig Kayserian – was developed to ensure no stone is left unturned in the web business process.

1. WEB BUSINESS STRATEGY (or MOBILE BUSINESS STRATEGY)

KAYWEB helps develop a holistic website business strategy (or mobile business strategy) for client, protecting the client’s confidentiality on the way. KAYWEB also offers assistance in market research if all parties feel it will aid the development of strategy.

2. PROJECT PLANNING

KAYWEB draws up a website project plan (or mobile application project plan), inclusive of project timelines and website flowcharts, which will collectively ensure the website goals set out in STEP 1 are achieved.

3. WEB DESIGN (or MOBILE APPLICATION DESIGN)

KAYWEB is a multi-award winner in web design and mobile application (mobile app) design. KAYWEB does not use ready-made templates; we rather custom design the ‘look and feel’ of client websites or mobile apps to their absolute and guaranteed satisfaction.

4. CMS DEVELOPMENT

Most websites or mobile applications (mobile apps) need a Content Management System (CMS) to update the content on their website themselves. KAYWEB CMS is an easy-to-use enterprise level content management system, which KAYWEB will customise to your specific needs.

5. WEBSITE TESTING (or MOBILE APPLICATION TESTING)

With the website or mobile application (mobile app) effectively complete, at this point, KAYWEB gives the client private access to it in a ‘test environment’. Here, the client tests the website or mobile app as though it is live, recommends any ‘fixes’ or changes, which KAYWEB staff action immediately.

6. LAUNCH

With the website or mobile application (mobile app) now tested; KAYWEB implements the launch of it on the client’s chosen domain name, effectively moving it from test mode to live mode. Whatever the launch strategy (Alpha, Beta, etc.), KAYWEB caters for client’s business needs.

7. WEB MARKETING

With the website now looking fabulous and live for all to see, the attention of KAYWEB is turned to delivering the client maximum visitor numbers to promote their product, service or business.

CLIENT: “I have a business idea that could be the next big thing in web, however I have no internet experience and am not sure if I can make it work.”

KAYWEB: “You have come to the right place. First of all, here is a Non-Disclosure Agreement which we will both sign and will guarantee that the information you provide KAYWEB will stay with KAYWEB and will not be used in any way other than how you stipulate. This is to protect your ideas.”

CLIENT: “Great.”

KAYWEB: “We are web business strategists (and mobile business strategists), and having developed over 100 websites, owned web businesses and sold web businesses, we are well-placed to listen to your business idea, help you justify its merits as a web business (or mobile application business) by asking you some tough questions, then articulate a web business strategy (or mobile business strategy) you will approve to move forward and develop.”

CLIENT: “I would like them to see a listing of our services, because they are so unique to our industry.”

KAYWEB: “So on your homepage, we will ensure we list your services in an attractive and easy to understand manner to encourage visitor interest. What would you like your ideal visitor to do next?”

CLIENT: “I would like them to choose the service that applies to them and contact us for more information.”

KAYWEB: “Great. We will ensure underneath, in between and at the end of each service listing, we include a ‘call to action’, inviting visitors to click through to a short, easy-to-fill contact form, which will lead them to you.”

KAYWEB: “By the way, we can also enable a callback feature, where your visitor enters their phone number, submits it to the website, which immediately and automatically initiates a call from your phone to theirs.”

CLIENT: “That would be cool. How much would that cost.”

KAYWEB: “I will make a note of this, and at the end of this STEP 2, will compile a list detailing costing of any additional services you declared your interest in.”

KAYWEB: “Great. Our designers will come up with two or three homepage options based on this information. If you like either of them, we will move forward. If you like some things about them, we will take those points in the next series of options we come up for you. If you hate them, no problem. We will start again. At the end of the day, you will be satisfied with your final design.”

KAYWEB: “So on your homepage, we will ensure we list your services in an attractive and easy to understand manner to encourage visitor interest. What would you like your ideal visitor to do next?”

CLIENT: “Fantastic.”

CMS DEVELOPMENT

KAYWEB: “Now that your website design (or mobile application design) is complete, we need to start programming it into a content management system to allow you to maintain and update any section of the website that is necessary. What part of your website would you like to be able to update yourself?

CLIENT: “I would like to be able to add new BLOG articles, and NEWS items. With user comments, can I make sure they do not go live until I approve them?”

KAYWEB: “No problem with all of that. As custom CMS developers, we can customise KAYWEB CMS to your specific needs.”

WEBSITE TESTING (or MOBILE APPLICATION TESTING)

With the website or mobile application (mobile app) now tested; KAYWEB implements the launch of it on the client’s chosen domain name, effectively moving it from test mode to live mode.

In some client strategies, there may be an ALPHA or BETA launch first to test with focus groups before making it completely available for public consumption. In other client strategies, there may be scheduled PHASED launches, where some sections of the websites are developed at a later date.
