MELBOURNE: The auDA (Australian Domain Name Administrator) Names Policy Panel has released its Draft Recommendations, May 2011 for public comment.

Haig Kayserian of KAYWEB, who was part of the panel, said: "The policy we have been working on affects all who own domain names or plan to own domain names in the future. I encourage the constituents I represent as a Web firm company owner to read through the recommendations and use the means available to provide feedback.

There are two ways in which you can comment on the draft recommendations.

Electronic submissions are preferred. All submissions will be posted on the auDA website within 2 working days of receipt, unless clearly marked confidential.

The closing date for submissions is Friday 10 June 2011.

The survey will close on at midnight on Friday 10 June 2011.
